Hi ,

Isn't June a beautiful month? Beautiful gardens and beautiful weather. It also means Royal Ascot, Henley Regatta and for tennis lovers the beginning of Wimbledon is not far away. And this year we also have the football World Cup too. We can take advantage of the good weather and go for lovely walks, picnics etc

Lots of delicious fruit and vegetables are available too - English strawberries, Jersey Royal potatoes, Asparagus to name but a few.

All of these can boost our wellbeing - getting out and about more, longer days, more sunshine, being more active, eating healthily.

We were busy during May especially for mental health awareness week - Unlock Your Wellbeing, along with others, were launching Wellbeing In Wokingham Action Group (WIWAG). We covered a lot of Wokingham Borough with leaflets and posters - please do find us on Facebook for more -

We were also at the Ethical Reading event for mental health awareness week and were able to talk to lots of people about our work in mental health education and wellbeing.

The theme was stress - and we have a selection of workshops to support people to manage their stress rather it controlling them - do check out our website pages HERE

We worked with staff at Alexandra Place in Woodley, where we held 3 workshops - on Happiness, Wellbeing and Resilience to around 50 people. Sessions were informal and yet informative, with plenty of interaction - oh and there was also tea and cakes!

We have a few new things to tell you about
